Accounting Manager

Ensuring day-to-day transactions such as accounts payable, cash receipts and accounts receivable, credit card transactions, and payroll are recorded properly. Performing timely and accurate month-end journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations (e.g., net assets, investments, revenue, expenses, payroll allocations, etc.), ensuring that accounting schedules are updated and accurate. Ensuring proper revenue and expense recognition. Dealing with payroll and social insurance, invoices, expenses and VAT. Monitoring cash and investment balances and performing cash flow forecasting. Ensuring all finance and accounting operations comply with generally accepted accounting principles, laws and regulations. Continually seeking and implementing opportunities to streamline and improve accounting operations through technology, including training staff to better utilize accounting software. Managing select administration activities, such as state unemployment and income tax registrations. Managing and overseeing a company's financial resources, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and preparing financial reports. Handling banking activities, and participate in budgeting and financial planning. Assisting the CFO and budget managers in developing and monitoring departmental, project, and organizational budget; assisting with monthly financial reporting needs. Presenting reports to managers. Manage end-to-end recruitment processes (sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding support). Proactively build and maintain talent pipelines for all key positions, ensuring readiness for current and future hiring needs. Maintain recruitment as a continuous, ongoing process, not only in response to immediate hiring requests. Conduct recruitment analysis by tracking and analyzing key hiring metrics (time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, source effectiveness, and offer acceptance rate). Prepare regular recruitment reports and insights. Use recruitment data to identify gaps, improve sourcing strategies, and optimize hiring processes. Source candidates using LinkedIn, referrals, and networking. Manage calendars, meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for senior management. Act as a key point of contact between management and internal/external stakeholders. Prepare, review, and organize correspondence, reports, presentations, and meeting materials. Take meeting minutes, track action items, and follow up to ensure timely completion. Handle confidential information with a high level of discretion and professionalism. Support day-to-day administrative tasks and ensure smooth office operations related to management support.
